Identifying within yourself that you are a Gray Area Drinker is a powerful yet overwhelming realisation. Jolene Park has walked this path in 2014 when she recognised her unhealthy habits with alcohol and stopped drinking, forever.
Despite not being deemed to hit rock bottom, there was a truth within herself that she was drinking too much.
Jolene believes when it comes to alcoholism, physiology first, then psychology second, determining nutritional deficiencies and depletions of nutrients such as B6, magnesium, low neurotransmitters, microbiome dysregulation (as this is the home for neurotransmitters). We need to apply the neuroscience with the up-to-date physiology with the craving alcohol or sugar craving brain. The body is depleted.
