Scott Hostert is a unique and interesting skateboarder. At 57 years old he was sponsored by Sims Skateboards in 1976-1978 and by 1980 moved off to another life.... He skated what you did in the 70's, everything, pools, freestyle, barrel jump, slalom and anything else you could do on you on a board... Came back at 49 years old and found his love again, he started rolling around on a longboard, doing some Cooks to Pinks downhill runs, and eventually found his was back in the pool, and was completely hooked again.

Not having skated since the 70's his style was right where he left off and watching him skate is often like watching a 70's skate video..... He found slalom racing once again as well and has spent a lot of time since 2012 traveling and enjoying slalom races, winning a world championship etc... a very well rounded skater.
