The final season opener at Highmark Stadium will certainly add to the rich history of that venue. The Bills defense made some crucial stops and forced a key fumble, and Josh Allen led a comeback where Buffalo scored 16 unanswered points in the final four minutes in a 41-40 win. The Bills and Ravens are without question, two of the NFL's elite. What is more than notable though is what hasn't been accomplished. The Bills are still looking for a first Super Bowl title, and the Ravens for the first with quarterback Lamar Jackson at the helm. The scoreboard read 38-0 Bears. There was obviously much more to it considering Sean McDermott sat out an overwhelming majority of his starters coming off what appeared to be a productive joint practice with the Bears on Friday. Having said that, the lack of fundamentals and execution was disturbing, and while it's just the preseason, some legitimate areas of concern were again highlighted.
