The Bills (10-3) head to Detroit Sunday to face the Lions (12-1). It's a game that's getting, and probably deserves a lot of hype. After giving up 37 of the Rams 44 points in a loss on Sunday, the Buffalo defense is doing it's best to make corrections as they prepare to face Detroit (12-1) on Sunday. The Lions have the top scoring offense in the NFL (32.1ppg). Josh Allen and the Bills, coming off his historic performance in the loss to the Rams are second (30.5ppg). There was also news on the ownership front. As expected, the franchise has added ten limited partners that include former NBA stars Vince Carter and Tracy McGrady, along with soccer star Jozy Altidore. Josh Allen has now gone where no NFL quarterback has ever gone before... Three passing and three rushing touchdowns in a single game. That's a first in NFL history. Amazingly it wasn't enough as the Bills lost 44-42 to the Rams, ending their seven game win streak and falling to 10-3 on the year and into a tie in the race for the AFC's second seed with the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Bills just clinched a fifth straight division title and haven't enjoyed this level of success as a franchise since the early 90's and the run to four straight Super Bowls. The Bills are bringing back veteran safety Micah Hyde for the stretch run and post season. The team announced Wednesday that they've signed Hyde to the practice squad. Hyde was so much a part of the team's success since Sean McDermott brought him in along with Jordan Poyer in 2017. His contract expired at the end of last season, and he now comes back at a time when the team is 10-2 and setting up for what looks like the unfinished business of a Super Bowl run.
