The Canadiens more than dominated the Sabres in a 6-2 game three win Sunday night. The game might have been more lopsided that the score would indicate. The series has taken a decided turn in Montreal's favor with the Habs outscoring Buffalo 11-3 over the last two games in what is now a 2-1 series lead. Adam Benigni and Sal Maiorana share takes on all of it.

The Sabres were able to finish the Boston Bruins in six games, and had the benefit of waiting while Montreal and Tampa Bay went seven games. The Canadiens edged the lightning 2-1 Sunday night, setting up the first meeting between Buffalo and Montreal in the postseason since back in 1998 when the Sabres swept them. This year, the regular season series was 2-2-0. Who has the edge in what should be a very tight postseason match-up? Paul Hamilton joined Adam and Sal for a series preview.

It's well known in NHL playoff circles that the series clinching game is the hardest one to win. After a 14-year postseason drought, the Sabres found that out Tuesday night at KeyBank Center in Buffalo. David Pastrnak scored on a breakaway in overtime to lift the Bruins to a 2-1 win. The Sabres now lead the series 3-2 ahead of game six Friday night in Boston.
