Chet Thomas is an awesome skateboarder, a good human, a hard worker, a good son as your hear from his mom, and a great dad, amongst other things.
His skateboarding career path led him through every aspect of skateboarding and the skateboard industry. He started at Powell, and had some time with Santa Cruz, Public, Channel One, XYZ, Volcom, and went on the start and continue to run Darkstar and has been behind brands like Wreck wheels too...
We talk his history, our history, things he's learned etc..... Chet was great help to me at Acme/Abc Board Supply when we built our woodshop back in 1995 and was probably the single largest contributor of feedback in helping us make awesome boards. Today, he balances skateboarding with skateboarding business, real estate and financial services. Hope you enjoy our chat..
