Welcome to The Amanda Ferguson show! In this first episode, I share the experience that I had during the months leading up to my mother’s passing in 2011.

I talked about the grief, financial stress, and emotional burdens that I endured. It was a rough patch for me.

Fast forward to several years later in my attempt to start my consulting business. I ran into difficulties wanting to go into the corporate world while having an exclusively breastfed newborn who didn't take a bottle. Both of those experiences changed the trajectory of my life as I soon saw a common theme: “ My obstacles were simply opportunities for God's glory to be revealed.”

How obstacles turn into opportunities:

[10:20] You can turn traumatic or bad life experience into a financial opportunity.

[13:20] Don’t let financial stress to bury that one thing you were passionate about. It is time to use it as an opportunity.

[17:21] If your obstacle is transportation or family related, use that as an opportunity to go online and create extra income.
