Today’s episode is an excerpt from a conversation between LPP coach Zach Rhoads and developmental psychologist and Best-Selling author Dr. Ross Greene. 

Zach asked Dr. Greene to talk about his strategy for working collaboratively with children whose behavior presents challenges to themselves and/or to others around them. The model is called Collaborative and Proactive Solutions.  This model ensures that all parties— kids AND adults—  act according to the wants and needs of all involved.

Of course, this is not a direct link to addiction-related problems, but the methods and tools of problem-solving that Ross Greene describes in this episode are precisely the ways we work with clients in the Life Process Program, and it’s the way we encourage clients to work through problems with others in their lives.
