There are few figures of the 'Wild West' that carry as much lore and legend as Jesse Woodson James. A former Confederate guerrilla turned outlaw, Jesse was portrayed as an outlaw hero, who only stole from the rich to give to the poor. But, this would really only be a myth, and Jesse James was not the hero he was portrayed to be, but rather a cold blooded criminal and murderer.
