The Director of Public Prosecutions is set to consider if any criminal offences have been committed amidst the production and then withdrawal of new witnesses by Conor McGregor's side in the appeal against a rape verdict by the civil courts.
In a rare move, the three-judge Court of Criminal Appeal said they would send the details of an application made by victim Nikita Hand's lawyers to the DPP after McGregor’s barrister Mark Mulholland KC said he was withdrawing the new evidence in a shock move in court this week.
