Commentary: Psalm 146 “Put not your trust in princes, in a son of man, in whom there is no salvation. When this breath departs, he returns to the earth; on that very day his plans perish.” Psalm 146 cautions us to be careful in whom we place our trust. We place our trust in government, in schools, in police, to keep our kids safe. In every way imaginable, they fail us.
