Britain’s toughest prison HMP Wakefield is known to many as the ‘Monster Mansion’, housing some of the most dangerous criminals in the country.

Serial killers Harold Shipman and Levi Bellfield once spent time inside its cells and some 750 prisoners are kept there today.
