My name is Phelix Obuya (F3 Safari)though some pax call me "The Beast" because they think that I am a strong person. Born and raised in Kenya 48 years ago but still runs 21Km three times a week. Before I joined F3, I couldn't run even a half a mile but I thank God for joining this wonderful outdoor group and it is the reason I brought this idea to Kenya. The late Chaplain Steven Hubbard and I thought through and initiated a Foundation and got it incorporated in Kenya in 2022. Damien's Hope Foundation as it is called follows the lifestyle of the late St. Damien of Molokai, a Belgium Catholic priest who died while serving lepers. We therefore are dedicated to work with the "modern day lepers" who are needy and aren't capable of meeting their basic needs in the society.
