Dan Reeves was facing 6-20 years in prison and was on the verge of losing everything.

Even with those consequences hovering, he was unable to stop consuming the very chemicals that put him in this position.

He was sentenced to three years, one on home incarceration, one on probation and the third suspended pending successful completion of the first two. He did not spend a day in jail.

When the student is ready, the teacher will appear, and Dan’s came in the form of an Alcoholics Anonymous sponsor, and the twelve steps which altered the course of his life forever.

Dan is over 7 years sober, a sponsor, a yoga instructor, and hosts men retreats grounded in AA and spirituality, offering others a pathway towards recovery.
