We don't have an interview, but the Coordinators have a jam session! After a year not being able to watch games together because of COVID-19, we got together to drink beer and watch Duke beat Northwestern! Consistent with our pre-COVID routine, we played old time music during commercials and halftime and decided to record some songs for the first time in a long while. The track listing is below. Consistent with our tradition, we renamed the songs based on good moments in the game!
Track one - Last Steam Engine Train or Holding on by the skin of our teeth
Track two - Big Scioty or Gunnar to Durant
Track three - Walking Up Georgia Row - A whole lotta interceptions
Track four - Fanny Poer or Touchdown Duke
Tim played lead (mandolin and guitar) and I played rhythm guitar. If you guys like this, we'll keep doing them throughout the year.
Can't wait to see you all at Wallace Wade on Saturday! Go Duke!
