Glen Matlock needs no introduction, but I can't publish an episode with this bit blank so I’ll do one anyway. The bass player in the immortal Sex Pistols – and the principal songwriter within that group too – in the decades that have followed he’s recorded with Iggy Pop, The Damned, played with the Faces, Primal Scream and – currently - Blondie, shared lead vocals with Midge Ure in the Rich Kids, and released a string of excellent solo records with the Philistines suffix, the most recent of which, Consequences Coming, is due on April 27th on Cooking Vinyl.
I’m pleased to say that this interview went much better than the last time I spoke to a Sex Pistol, and yet it’s still occasionally feisty stuff…
