Welsh poet and playwright Patrick Jones is one of Wales most prominent literary voices. In addition to his writing, Patrick has done so many other things. In 1993 he founded the Blackwood Young Writers Group. He taught adult literacy, worked as a hospice aide and was employed at a factory in Chicago, where he did not even know what the product was. The underlying theme in all of his activities writing and otherwise, is social justice, and trying very hard to be the voice for the disaffected.
This past October, Parthian Books released the 20th anniversary edition book of Patrick's poetry titled Fuse / Fracture (Poems 2001-2021).
