Angela Shartel and BJ Haeck, the race directors of the San Diego 100 mile endurance run join us to chat about the challenges of putting on an event in the "Covid era" as well as their passion for being co-race directors for one of the premier ultramarathon events in southern California.

We discuss their thought process on the cancellation of the 2020 event as well as their planning and hopes for having a successfull event in 2021. We also hear some great stories from their experiences as race directors.
