Through the self-sacrificial image of Christ, we see God purely for Who He has always been...totally free of all the misconceptions that fallen humanity had assigned to His nature and attributed to His character. Good Friday is good for many reasons, but getting to finally behold God clearly has to be one of the best "good" things that happened.
