The bassist doesn’t turn up for thirty minutes, and before that we get into a variety of topics ranging from the inexplicable rise and rise of the Kardashians; disassociation; the brilliance and banality of TikTok; the band’s most recent release, 2022’s Loud Without Noise; major label record culture; and, crucially, what species of bat bass player Liv Kettle is having tattooed on her, while this episode was being recorded. 

We begin with drummer Harry, singer Holly and guitarist Amy, huddled around a computer in their management offices. And then things get weird – but also very fun.
