Remote working has become more popular now than ever with businesses adapting to a more efficient way of working even in a local environment. As most businesses are now online, having an understanding of digital marketing is essential.

Knowing the basic marketing principles for SEO, email marketing, Google Adwords and landing pages will give you an edge over your competitors, as they might not necessarily be using these features.

We go on to speak about the importance of having a Google My Business Page as this means you can appear on page one of Google, without having to battle for organic results, through SERP features. Another big aspect is the reviews section. People are always looking for social proof. By adding these reviews to your website, you help to paint a better picture about your business. You should always be responding to these reviews no matter how good or bad they are as this shows a human element.
