How fast can you grow? How do you grow? What is growth?
As we dive into this topic, I want you to really think of what “growth” really means. Does it mean a broader income? Or growth in your skills? Because you can do both and you need to focus on one to grow the other.
The cool thing about freelancing is that you can grow as big as you want. If you’re an employee, you get the same number of income doing things at the same number of hours but it’s going to make you stuck.
In freelancing, you can grow, grow, and grow if you wanted to.
Other Means To Make Your Business Grow
You can also grow in your skillset. As a freelancer, you can always grow your skillset in every area of writing, or you can specialize in one area over another to have a little more in your pocket with the services that you can offer.
On the employee side, you can’t. You get stuck at the bedside. Unless you’re in a leadership role or whatever but really you can’t grow your skillset like you can as a writer.

How can you start to grow?
The biggest thing that was harder for me to make my business grow was to delegate. Delegation is something we need to start getting comfortable with. As a bedside nurse, I hate delegating because if I can do it myself, then I want to do it myself. I do not want to say I need help, but I also do want to say do something for me.
When it comes to freelancing, there are things that you have to delegate.
