Dr. Devorah Heitner, PhD, is the author of 'Screenwise: Helping Kids Thrive (and Survive) in Their Digital World,' as well as 'Growing Up in Public.' Dr. Heitner earned her PhD in media/technology and society from Northwestern University and has taught at esteemed institutions like DePaul University and Northwestern University.
