On this weeks episode I am pleased to get to hear from Baffins Fit Club member, Brett Rumfitt. Brett tells the story of his upbringing in Bristol where he grew up playing contact sports – but not running at all, all the way through to coming back to Portsmouth and first taking up running to get fit after some health issues. Brett’s story is one that really showcases the power of friendship in running because Brett got into the running via a friend who challenged him to a race after he had been through some operations. Until then Brett always ran solo, and had coincidentally picked up a nickname by the Baffins Fit Club as the “Baffins Runner” due to them always seeing him out. This came to light after he eventually joined the club! Enjoy the show everyone!
