Raving our way into episode 113 of the show, Dave and Daniel are joined by our very special guest and founder of Ravers2Runners, Jo Bryan-Smith. After many discussions about getting Jo onto the show, we finally managed to make it happen and it was well worth the wait. Raver 2 Runners are a group of passionate ravers who absolutely love music, running, community, and merging these things together in harmony. They enjoy trying to find the balance between everything in life - much like many of us trying to do the same.

Celebrating on this episode of the show with local runner, and now Abbott World Marathon Major 6 Star medal holder and finisher - Kim Holloway. We absolutely love celebrating all running achievements and this one is very fresh and recent with Kim having just completed Boston. The final of the original big 6 majors. We chat about how Kim got into runner later in life, and how she has managed to achieve this brilliant milestone. I learned a lot of the marathon majors and found myself really inspired by this chat. Like others before her, I am sure Kim will be inspiring others who will follow in her footsteps I am sure.

And as always, Dave and Dan catch up on all things running related in their lives and also come up with some new running ideas for the near future....x

On this episode of the show, I welcome two guests who are both joint founders of the local running group called Hot Girl Run Club. Welcome Chloe and Oakley! Formed just under a year ago, Hot Girl Run Club has grown in numbers very quickly, and provides a friendly, welcoming group for ladies. Based purely on female running data - like pacing for example, this group is a great option for women who want to join a group and feel absolutely no pressure to run in any particular way. It really is great to have more option and doors that can open up running for different groups of people. An absolute pleasure to have Oakley and Chloe on the show to chat with us.

On this episode of the show I am joined by local runner and AI App creator Barney Reed. AI is at the forefront of many of our personal and working lives right now. Many runners are turning to AI apps to help with their running, training, race preparation and more. Tools available are helping runners make the most of the data being collected by various devices, and Barney has created an app called LT.ai (Lactate Training). Available on the app stores, it will connect with an account, like Strava, and start to create many different insights you can use in your own training.

This discussion jumps into a few different areas, but it was great to discuss together and to get some good insights into the app that Barney has had developed, which incorporates not just running, but other aspects of busy lives we all have too. Check out the app at: https://lactatetraining.ai/

Rolling out the red carpet on this episode of the show and welcoming to the episode ranks, the ever chatty and smiley and winner of this years Spine Challenger South - Sarah Page. That's right, Sarah has kicked off the year with a massive win and true show of grit, skill and determination in her running. Keeping in tradition with years past, we end this year with a special episode with our long time friend and regular guest, Rob Piggott. Rob and his team bring the coastal marathon to our doorstep each year, including the half, the 50k and the Saturday santa runs too. Of course, there are a whole lot of different events during the year too which we chat about too, but this one is all about what's happening at this years race, coming up in just a week.

On this episode of the show, it is just your co-hosts Daniel and Dave, as we dive into a race report from David Harvey after his epic 3rd place finish at this years Lon Las. This is a race that takes long distance running to the extreme.

Starting in Holyhead, north Wales and finishing in Cardiff, south Wales, this course navigates through central Wales along one of the cycle networks. It's a real test of endurance with absolutely minimal support every 50 miles. Dave has now finished a few 200+ mile runs and so we dive into a discussion about how he planned for this, what he ate and how he managed to keep going and defeat the demons that got the best of him last time.
