In this episode of The MumSafe Movement Podcast Jen sits down with Alisha Smith.
Alisha knows the fitness industry, education and events like the back of her hand. She's a sought-after industry advisor with a diverse career spanning 18 years as a facility owner, educator, event producer and presenter.
As Learning and Development Manager at Australian Fitness Network, Alisha and her team were responsible for curriculum development, delivery, and conference programming that qualified or up-skilled many thousands of fitness industry professionals. This included leading the program development for FILEX in its heyday, when the event comprised 120+ presenters delivering 200+ sessions across a 4-day program for 2000 delegates.
Alisha designed and delivered education and summits for global fitness education company Animal Flow, and has consulted on product and brand development, growth and innovation across a number of companies.
Today, as co-founder of Fuel Women's Fitness Business Summit, Alisha brings her background as an endorsed personalised coach into her leadership work in order to help Fuel women capitalise on their unique and inherent biological strengths.
Alisha and her business partner Deb are also just about to bring the Fuel Speaker Academy to life - if you're an aspiring speaker or want to polish your speaking skills this 6month program is for you. If are listening to this podcast in real time and want to join the very first round of the Fuel Speaker Academy make sure to reach out to Alisha or Deb ASAP via the Fuel IG page.
Jen wanted to bring Alisha onto the podcast because she knows the value that it brings to the industry when women find their voice to share their mission on a bigger stage and she couldn’t think of anyone better to share this conversation with.
Not only that, but from the first time Jen spoke with and met Alisha she has led by example when it comes to supporting other women and lifting them up.
If you have any aspirations to speak on a stage - or even pick up your phone and be brave enough to post your first IG story then this is an episode you are going to love!
