Kimberly Cargill was a mother from Texas whose life became the center of a shocking murder case in 2010. After hiring 39-year-old babysitter Cherry Walker to care for her young son, Cargill became worried Walker might testify against her in an ongoing child custody dispute. Prosecutors say Cargill lured Walker to a remote area outside Amarillo, where she murdered her and later burned her body to destroy evidence. The brutal killing and the motive behind it stunned the community. In 2012, Cargill was convicted of capital murder and sentenced to death, becoming the first woman sent to death row in Texas in decades.
