It was a pleasure to welcome Martin Williams onto this weeks show. Martin is a Portsmouth based runner who has been competitively running for many years. Many will have seen him running at Southsea parkrun as he is often chasing the front runners down, and he almost always finishes with an extremely high age grading %. Martin is the son of Brian, who often comes to watch Southsea parkrun on a Saturday morning, and whom like many of us, is really missing out on the social side it provides. Martin goes into details about his training and racing, and how he also ran the London to Brighton 55 mile race, but decided to keep to the shorter distances. Martin is a lovely man to speak to and has a lot of great running experiences which I really enjoyed speaking with him about. Enjoy the show everyone! x
