Creativity requires freedom.  The ability to desire and dream with impunity.   That doesn't happen by accident.  You have to enable and defend it.

* Remove the cost of failure

* Stand between your team (and their creativity) and danger (rejection, judgment)

* Once earned, make sure the brushstrokes are big and colourful, otherwise nothing changes

* Growth and development is done in consistent single-digit developments.  Innovation is often done in grand moments that emerge from the daily disciplines

* Dream big.  You're going to fail anyway - why fail at something small?
