On this weeks show I get to chat with the lovely Lisa-Marie Peckover and Gary Armstrong who are both members of the Denmead Striders running club. They both began their running journey together back in 2012 after having been out only a few times casually around the hills of Denmead. Their first ever race was at the Great South Run weekend back in 2013 and since then it’s been lots and lots of great improvement with some awesome results for both Lisa and Gary. I first met Gary at a race back in 2014 as he sailed past me at the Hayling 10 mile. Since then it’s always been a pleasure to bump into them at races as they are always friendly and super supportive, especially when they are watching races and supporting their fellow club mates and friends at events.
