Let's imagine that you're feeling a negative emotion - like worry or stress or anger or resentment. Your brain wants to make it a big problem. You may even think, "I'm going to feel this way forever." But the thing is, you aren't going to feel this way forever. This too shall pass. When you're feeling that this negative emotion will never go away, you often look for someone to blame. Like your husband or your kids. Riding the emotional wave would be so much easier.
