It's December, which means it's time to take a break from Christmas movies. Instead, we're celebrating July at Christmas, and what better expression of July than Roland Emmerich's 1996 action epic Independence Day! Also, fun fact: We recorded this episode literally the day before the trailer for the sequel dropped. Fortuitous timing, but that means we couldn't break it down in all sorts of stupid ways. C'est la vie.
