David Quantick is an English novelist, comedy writer and critic, who has worked as a journalist and screenwriter. A former freelance writer for NME, his TV writing credits include On the Hour, Blue Jam and TV Burp.

He won an Emmy Award for Veep in 2015. His new comedy, Whatever Happened to Baby Jane Austin, is airing weekly on BBC Radio 4.
