Welcome to Get Up in the Cool: Old Time Music with Cameron DeWhitt and Friends! It’s the second week of Get Up in the Cool month; I’ve been saving some very special interviews in hopes that you’ll be moved to support the show. This week’s friend is Kim Johnson, banjo player for legendary West Virginia fiddlers such as Frank George, Lester McCumbers, and Wilson Douglas. Also joining us on the fiddle is Cody Jordan, her bandmate in The Modock Rounders. We recorded this last month over skype and I recorded some guitar and singing afterwards.
