Much of the disastrous wildfires on Maui could not be avoided thanks to decades of capitalist and colonialist destruction. But some of it, particularly the numbers of dead and missing - could have been avoided. 

It's a topsy turvy world so why wouldn't there be an onomatopoeia-esque consolidation of our food system...
