It was the first true road game of the season for Mike Anderson's crew as they headed to Ames to take on the #23 Iowa State Cyclones. St. John's came out flat and never recovered as the staunch defense from ISU proved to be too much to overcome. 

St. John's never got their offense going, their stars were not good enough and there was no second half magic to save them this time. What went wrong, how do they bounce back and will the real St. John's Red Storm please stand up.
