Dolores Cannon (1931–2014) was a pioneering hypnotherapist, author, and lecturer known for her groundbreaking work in past-life regression, extraterrestrial contact, and the study of consciousness. Over nearly five decades, she developed the Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique (QHHT), a deep-trance hypnosis method that allowed individuals to access past lives, higher consciousness, and interdimensional experiences.

Her research led to the publication of over 17 books, including The Convoluted Universe series and The Custodians, where she documented thousands of case studies exploring reincarnation, lost civilizations, parallel realities, and encounters with non-human intelligences. She introduced the concept of the Three Waves of Volunteers, suggesting that advanced souls had incarnated on Earth to assist in a planetary shift toward higher consciousness.
