Our program this time around will focus on the innovators in the genre of bluegrass music. Almost from its inception, players began to alter bluegrass music - much to the dismay of Bill Monroe and many other traditionalist. We'll hear some of those innovators including The Country Gentlemen, Old and In the Way, Alison Brown and some remarkable recordings made by Bill Monroe with melodic bluegrass banjoist Bill Keith.
