Today I am joined by TFD Performance Dietitian Loz Nash and we are introducing you to some of the most fundamental concepts of Endurance Sports Nutrition. We are doing that because Loz and I will be launching an in-depth series where we break down everything you need to know about Performance Nutrition for Endurance Sports. 


 We will cover calorie intake for the different endurance sports, how to calculate your macronutrients, what macronutrients are best for your event, the importance of carbohydrates, how to carb load, the best fuelling strategies for training and competition, the importance of having an individual hydration strategy, natural vs artificial nutrition for competition and much much more. 

 

So for now, enjoy Loz and I introducing some of the basics before we take a deep dive into Endurance Nutrition.
