I heard this on a YouTube video I was watching last night:

As Christian mothers, we are at war for the hearts and souls of our children. And we fight spiritual with spiritual by going after things in prayer, through the Bible, in full faith and belief in God.

We have everything we need to fight in the Word of God.

Practical ways I do this for my family:

Daily prayer walks.

Reading/listening to God’s Word daily.

Reading the Bible to my children.

Talking about the goodness of God to my children daily.

Taping scripture on the walls of our home.

Getting on my knees in prayer over my family alone or with my husband.

Telling them powerful testimonies of others who walk boldly for the Lord.

Going after any place in my heart AND the hearts of my children where there are roots that shouldn’t be there and asking the Lord to uproot them and replace with the seeds of God’s Word.

As Christian mothers, we need to be awake and alert to the tactics of the enemy. We have a responsibility before God to raise our children in a way that honors Him. We will stand before God someday and take an account for what we did with these babies He given us… let the words we hear be “well done, good and faithful servant” instead of a recounting of all the meaningless things we were distracted by that the enemy used to gain access to our children and their hearts.
