Good Friday and Resurrection Sunday are some of the most incredible and defining moments in the history of humanity. The Son of God coming to earth to save the souls of mankind. It's truly the greatest story ever told. This week I'm reading some scripture that gives a behind-the-scenes perspective of what Jesus looked like and what He was thinking that day on the cross from Isaiah 53 and Psalm 22. They are incredible prophetic writings that were fulfilled completely.

I pray you are encouraged and stirred up as you listen to the Word of God spoken out loud for you to hear.

The things my children remember the most aren't the things I expected to hear them tell me. It was in the little moments, the simple daily rhythms, the story times and meals together and quiet times we spent together that they treasure. You don't need to have all the things, gifts, fancy vacations, Pinterest-worthy home and big events to raise your children well. It's really in the little simple things that we get access to their hearts and core memories.
