St. Patrick's Day is both a religious holiday and a celebration of Irish history, culture and especially music. Tradition holds that he died on March 17th, possibly in the year 461. Over the following centuries, many legends grew up around Patrick, and he became Ireland's foremost saint. We'll listen to Barde, Altan, Tim O'Brien, and many other bands and musicians.
