Or maybe you loved him on The Simpsons, where he did another lawyer, Lionel Hutz, and Troy McClure, a newscaster and former unmemorable actor, who always opened with, “You might remember me from such roles as…”

And you also probably remember Hartman was shot May 28, 1998, by his wife, Brynn, who then shot herself.
