We are firmly into the NWO era of WCW, and this edition of the Great American Bash had plenty of highlights.
Led by the feud between the Macho Man Randy Savage and Diamond Dallas Page, the Bash of '97 had some fine matches. Additionally, in action were the Kevin Nash and Scott Hall with Syxx against Ric Flair and Roddy Piper, Akira Hokuto meeting Madusa, Ultimo Dragon (known here at the Ultimate Dragon versus Psychosis and Kevin Greene facing Steve McMichael (yes, they had a very good match).
