There's a gorgeous version of the pibroch, Desperate Battle of the Birds on pipes and piano, courtesy of Roddy MacLeod and Craig Muirhead, a taster of a brand new piece for pipes and orchestra from Lorne MacDougall, and with Armistice Day just around the corner, a moving song version of the lament, Flooers o the Forest, from one half of the Corries, Ronnie Brown.
