Donita Sparks founding member of the band L7 sits down with Lydia and Tim at her apartment in Los Angeles.  

Donita recounts meeting Lydia for the first time and riding the Coney Island Cyclone. Lydia talks  to Donita about being show folk, a term Lydia learned from Donita while they ate lunch at Musso and Frank. Donita shares with Lydia and Tim the history of L7.  In addition to L7, Donita has been busy with many other projects. Other projects include drumming in the band Lou Man Group a Lou Reed tribute band in blue face,  cofounding the non-profit CashMusic,  and producing the documentary L7: Pretend We're Dead. L7's latest album is Scatter the Rats(2019).
