In this episode, inspired by the Pinoys on Parliament conference in Ottawa, the Titas discuss “Magkasama” which means “Together”: they discuss what it means to be a community in the context of the pandemic (this was recorded before the world went into self-quarantine), challenges they have faced with “togetherness” in the Filipin* context and why it is important to encourage cross-generational friendship. We wanted to dedicate this episode to the fearless folks on the front-line, which include workers in healthcare, transit, grocery stores, pharmacies, who are battling COVID-19, from the bottom of our hearts, we thank you for everything you are doing.
