Today I am joined by TFD Senior Performance Dietitian Jack Doherty and we are talking about healthy relationships with food. 

 

This is a topic close to our hearts and something we are extremely mindful about with our athletes. This is especially important when we talk about weight category athletes who need to monitor their weight for competition. 

 

We discuss our philosophies on counting calories, why we don’t like the idea of if it fits your macros, why we prefer to use principles over strict numbers and we talk about how we do this in practice with our clients.
