This week we are taking on the slightly terrifying new entrant into Australian political life - Reignite Democracy Australia. Its founder, Monica Smit, has gone from having the political skills of a hessian sack to a serious operator in the fringe activist space. While she absolutely still cannot spell to save her life, she is gathering up a genuinely impressive amount of followers that appear to be more than happy to give her quite a lot of money. While she has her detractors, and we are in those ranks, she is absolutely galvanised by a torrent of support and the ability to absolutely ignore criticism in all its forms.
