This week we are joined by another guest who is passionate about improving fishing in SA. Josh Davey is a Rec Fish SA Director and has recently finished his Honours degree in Marine Biology and Aquaculture with the Southern Shark Ecology Group at Flinders University looking at the movements of 30 Southern Eagle Rays in Coffin Bay. We chat with Josh about all things fishing including his recent project, his involvement in the Bream Master Series and the recent letter to SA politicians pushing for fishing to be considered a sport.
As always we also discuss all the big news in SA Fishing including the MRFAC Recreational Fishing Strategy, the reasons behind wanting to have fishing recognised as a sport, some recent Fishing Charter Grants and a the new Rec Fish Citizen Science Memberships!
