This week, in anticipation of the 3rd Critical Role campaign launch, Fiona and Hamilton discuss the previous two series of the weekly live-streamed RPG game, with the help of the two official Critical Role sourcebooks: Critical Role: Tal'Dorei Campaign Setting and Explorer's Guide to Wildemount!

'Critical Role is a weekly live-streamed RPG game set in Exandria, which is the world created by veteran voice actor and Game Master, Matthew Mercer. Each week, Matthew leads his friends (also fellow voice actors!) on epic adventures.

The first campaign centred on the ragtag group of heroes known as Vox Machina. The second campaign focused on the Mighty Nein who found themselves embroiled in the conflict between the Dwendalian Empire and the Kryn Dynasty after beginning their adventures together in Wildemount. 

Critical Role is set to begin their third campaign on October 21, 2021, returning to Exandria and beginning in the continent of Marquet.'
